Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AI Buddy mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and AnytimeBuddy ("we", "our", "us"), the operator of AI Buddy.

Description of Service

AI Buddy is an emotional wellness companion app designed to provide a supportive, conversational experience for everyday wellbeing. It is classified as a Lifestyle & Wellness application.

The service includes voice and text conversations with an AI companion, mood tracking, conversation memory across sessions, and personality customisation.

User Responsibilities

By using AI Buddy you agree to the following.

• Age requirement — You must be 18 years of age or older to use this app. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
• Account security — You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Safe use — Do not use the app in any way that could cause harm to yourself or others. AI Buddy is a wellness tool, not a crisis intervention service.
• Acceptable use — Do not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse AI responses. Do not use the app to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Accurate information — Provide truthful information during registration. Do not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.

Crisis Situations

AI Buddy is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, please reach out to a helpline or emergency services immediately.

When the app detects crisis-related keywords in a conversation, it will display the helpline information above. No data is automatically shared with any external service during this process.

Intellectual Property

The AI Buddy app, the AnytimeBuddy brand, and all associated software, design, and content are owned by AnytimeBuddy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Conversation content that you create within the app belongs to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Limitation of Liability

AI Buddy provides general wellness support only. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated responses.
• We are not liable for any emotional, psychological, or physical harm resulting from use of the app.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹0 if you are using the free tier).

Account Termination

By us: We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behaviour, or misuse the service. We will notify you where reasonably possible before taking action.

By you: You may delete your account at any time from within the app's settings, or by emailing hello@anytimebuddy.com. Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
